Capacity building opportunity in the field of Ocean Colour Remote Sensing
Here is an excellent opportunity to avail the Capacity building opportunity in the field of Ocean Colour Remote Sensing.
Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Hyderabad, India in association with NF-POGO centre for excellence at Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), Andhra University and NIO-RC, Visakhapatnam is organizing a regional training programme on “The Application of Ocean Colour Remote Sensing in Primary Productivity and Ecosystem Modelling”.
The training will focus on basics of marine optics, ocean colour remote sensing, primary productivity and ecosystem modelling and will include lecture sessions, laboratory practical and field trips.
The training program is open to scientists, post-graduate fellows, and doctoral students involved in oceanographic work with specific reference to Ocean Colour Remote Sensing and its applications.
The Announcement of the training programme along with the application form is herewith attached. Also I request you to give wide circulation among your colleagues, national oceanography institutes, universities, etc.
The duly completed application form, and a brief CV along with the scanned recommendation letter (signed) from research supervisor / Head of the Institute / Scientist working in relevant field should be sent electronically to Dr. T.
